Overview
Distributed computing is an understated, yet powerful concept. Distributed computing can be used to solve computational problems that otherwise require a supercomputer. Some of the most powerful projects, like SETI@home, will rival even the most fastest supercomputers!
For more info about distributed computing and the benefits of using idle CPU cycles, see distributed computing.
Things you can do
There are many things you can do here. You can read articles about distributed computing. We only have a few pages now, but expect that number to increase! See the help page for more information.
Create translations
Do you speak another language than English? Then you can help by providing a translation of the website. See the section on how to create a translation for more info on how to get started.
Help brainstorming
We are currently running a brainstorm on how to expand the wiki. Please post any ideas you may have in the Brainstorming Section
Practice
You can experiment in the sandbox. That way you can learn how to use the wiki without destroying any existing articles.
